I’ve never heard of Joan Armatrading, but after hearing her music, she does have a very soulful voice. Her music is probably something I wouldnt listen to on a regular basis, but then you never know, maybe if I heard more of her music it would grow on me. I agree with what you said about contemporary music, and how a number of famous musicians today, are’nt as vocally talented as they once were, its a lot about buisness and marketability. She does have a very smooth, almost soothing voice, and I like the title of the song.

Man this is great! Music artists from the 70’s are some of my favorite. I had no idea about this artist.. do you have any cds I could borrow of hers?

I have never heard of Joan Armatrading but I really enjoyed this song. I like the musical instruments that are played in the background. What really caught my attention was her voice, it is so smooth and soothing. I do not listen to any soul mucis but after hearing this song I am willing to reconsider that. Great choice of song!

Right when I pressed play on this song I was already digging it. I have heard some Beck in the past, but I didn’t know he had this much soul. The bass groove had me jamming the whole time, not to mention the craziness of the video. I definitely have to get some Beck from Greg.
